Apparently, the "old code" seen in a previous post does not remove the Nav Bar in the newest version of Blogger. Supposedly, the following code does:

My Blog For Students

This year, I put up a blog for my students which can be found HERE. At first, I was just posting "fluffy" things I wanted them to read related to technology. Lately, I have found it to be very useful when:

I need to give information to a particular class
I want some or all students to visit a particular web site
I want to leave instructions for when I have a sub

I find student/parent communication to be one of the most compelling uses for blogs in education.
